I had a blast trying out water sports like kayaking and fishing nearby. The staff was friendly and the free WiFi saved me from boredom.

Oh, and who needs heating in the chilly months? Definitely not me!

Immersed in the historical charm of Touraine and Anjou, I enjoyed comfortable accommodation, a picturesque garden, and even tried water sports and tennis. Truly, nothing beats the thrill of kayaking and fishing nearby while staying at a guesthouse!

Oh, how I missed having heating only in April and May. Such a unique and refreshing experience for those who enjoy a touch of chill in their rooms!

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage in a perfect location. the parking right in front of the cottage was a huge plus. the kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed preparing home-cooked meals as vegetarians. the cottage was immaculate and well-equipped, with a private terrace to enjoy our meals. the hosts, Anne and Bruno, were incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful information about the area. We also adored their dog Lou, who added to our overall experience. We would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would love to go back in the future.

Felt at home instantly, no complaints whatsoever.

Beautifully decorated rooms with unique antique pieces and stunning artwork. The owners, Michelle and Jean Jaques, were incredibly hospitable, providing an amazing breakfast and offering great advice for exploring the area. Communication was seamless, even with limited French speaking skills. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at La Penesais Villa. the establishment is charming and refined, with spacious and cool rooms even on hot days. the hosts, Michele and Jean, were friendly and extremely helpful. the breakfast served in the attractive garden was excellent, and the overall comfort of the property was impressive. the house is beautifully decorated with period features and has a stunning walled garden. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the French countryside. We highly recommend La Penesais Villa for a 5-star experience!

    No negatives to mention.

The units at La Penesais are absolutely amazing! They are so cozy and comfortable, with a lovely seating area where you can relax and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen is a dream come true for someone like me who loves cooking, and it has everything you need, from a dishwasher to a microwave. The flat-screen TV is a nice touch, perfect for cozy movie nights. And the private bathroom with a shower is just the cherry on top!

One thing that I didn't personally like is that the bungalow provides an electric kettle. In my opinion, a regular kettle would have been more convenient.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this B&B. The location was perfect, with beautiful vineyards and a charming château within walking distance. The room was spacious, cool, and had lovely decor. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with a variety of French pastries, fresh fruit, and homemade jams. The hosts were incredibly helpful and gracious, providing excellent restaurant recommendations and assisting with directions and reservations. They even waited up late to ensure our safety. Parking was readily available and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch.

    No negatives from this place.

The fully equipped kitchen in our unit was a game-changer! With a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and oven, it felt like having our very own masterchef station. We whipped up delicious meals and felt like culinary wizards throughout our stay.

    Poor communication by the owners.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful, farmhouse-style hotel in Beaumont-en-Veron. The value for money was excellent and the rooms were spacious and lovely. The location was convenient for exploring Chinon and the surrounding areas, and the staff treated us with utmost kindness and helpfulness throughout our stay.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would have been more savory options alongside the delicious pastries and homemade jams.

The property was absolutely stunning, with beautiful French decor and attention to detail in the rooms. the rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. the garden was a lovely place to enjoy breakfast and pre-dinner drinks, offering a serene and peaceful setting. the host was amazing, providing a warm and welcoming experience. They gave excellent recommendations for things to do in the area and even made restaurant reservations for us. the property and host made for a delightful stay.

One thing to note is that the nearest bakery was a bit far, about 2 kilometers away. This meant that we couldn't just stroll out in the morning for some fresh baguettes and croissants.
